Description
A. The fingerprint paper heater is composed of a moving tray, an infrared radiant heater and the control circuit. The moving tray carries the fingerprint paper to move slowly under the heater and receive heat radiation. The heating time and temperature can be set by the control circuit.
B. There are blue and green light sources in the observation box, and both light source output ports are equipped with band-pass interference barrier filters. At the top of the observation box, there is a rectangular observation hole for inserting barrier filter, and the fingerprint fluorescence can be observed through the barrier filter.
C. The camera is mounted on the camera stand, and the fingerprint fluorescence can be photographed through the barrier filter.
Working principle
When the amino acid in the fingerprint is heated to 180-210°C, its chemical structure changes and becomes fluorescent substance, which can be viewed with a 400-540nm light.

Method
A. Switch on the heater, place the fingerprint paper on the moving tray, and set the heating temperature and the tray moving speed. Press the START button to start heating, and the tray will carry the paper to pass through under the heater. The temperature sensor measures the temperature in real time and controls the temperature to remain at the set temperature.
B. Place the heated paper into the fluorescence observation box, insert the blue barrier filter into the observation hole, turn on the blue light, and observe the fingerprint fluorescence through the barrier filter.
C. If the paper itself fluoresces and interferes with the fingerprint fluorescence, switch to green light. Insert the green barrier filter into the observation hole, turn on the green light, and observe the fingerprint fluorescence through the barrier filter. Most papers do not fluoresce with a 470-510nm light.
D. After a good fingerprint is observed, mount the camera onto the camera stand and photograph the fingerprint through the barrier filter.
Comparison of effects
A. A large number of comparative experiments have shown that, for fresh sweat fingerprint on paper, this method is more efficient than ninhydrin and is equivalent to DFO and 1,2-indanedione; for old sweat fingerprint on paper, this method is more efficient than ninhydrin, DFO and 1,2-indanedione.
B. The fingerprint developed with this device can be re-developed with ninhydrin, DFO, 1,2-indanedione or physical developer.
C. No need for complicated chemical treatment, fast (30-60 seconds) and damage-free development process, especially suitable for rapid processing of a large number of exhibits.
